STA Bogie hearth furnace offer a whole series of advantages in firing, sintering and tempering in production. The bogie can be loaded outside the furnace. If multiple bogies are used, one bogie can be loaded while the other is in use in the furnace. Useful accessories like multi-zone control to optimize the temperature uniformity, controlled cooling systems to shorten process times to the fully automatic system with motorized bogies and bogie exchange provide for the perfect adaptation of these furnaces to production process. A combi furnace version with debinding package for debinding and sintering in a single process is also possible.
Temperature 900 C, 1000 C, 1200 C, 1400 C, 1600 C, 1700 C, and 1800 deg C.
Dual shell housing with rear ventilation, provides for low shell temperatures
Swing door hinged on the right side
Heating from five sides (four sides and bogie) provides for an optimum temperature uniformity
Bogie heating receives power via blade contacts when driven in
Heating elements mounted on support tubes provide for free radiation and long service life
Bottom heating protected by SiC tiles on the bogie providing level stacking surface
Multi-layer insulation consisting of lightweight refractory bricks backed by microporus silica insulation
Bogie transfer system with parking rails to exchange bogies running on rails or to connect multiples furnaces
Motor-driven bogies and cross-traversal system
STA High-temperature bogie hearth furnace are supplied in customised configurations to match the systems precisely to the desired processes.
The bogie hearth can be removed completely from the furnace for convenient loading and unloading, and is mounted on heavy-duty castors for free movement in front of the furnace
Rugged bogie-hearth design, fully insulated with high quality fiber materials, labyrinth seal between hearth and furnace housing
Reinforced bogie hearth bottom for heavy loads
Double-walled furnace housing with forced cooling, hence very low outer-wall temperatures
Furnace insulation made of high-quality alumina fiber materials with low thermal mass, rapid heating and cooling possible; exhaust openings in furnace roof
Reinforced bottom for heavy batches
Heated by high-quality MoSi2 heating elements
The furnaces are heated by the side walls. Additional heating by the rear wall is available as optional extra.
Cutting-edge switching and control system, thyristor controlled heating elements, high-precision furnace regulation, wear-free, noiseless
Additional equipment:
Lifting door
Instead of hinged doors, furnaces can also be fitted with space-saving, vertical lifting doors. Electric or hydraulic drive units are available. The hot side of the insulation faces away from the operator
Rail-bound bogie hearth
Bogie hearth with steel wheels on rails, for ease of movement even with large batch weights
Transverse shunting device
Customised transverse shunting device in front of the furnace, with parking rails beside the furnace
Additional door on the rear furnace wall
for operation with two bogies
Start-up switch
The start-up switch ensures that heat-up is slow in the lower temperature range up to 250 °C, in the case of sensitive components that may not be heated up too fast.
Fully automatic furnace regulation
Exhaust flaps
Exhaust hoods
Air preheating for debinding processes
Customised furnace furniture.
